This is the temporary website for Matcha Mental Health Inc., a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit. We also are known as "AID PLUS INC". EIN: 92-2587152
Our business is located at 41 Sagamore Avenue, Edison, NJ 08820, USA
MatchA’s mission is to empower people who present with symptoms of mental distress to recover and retake control of their lives, providing clients with the right resources to work through underlying emotional issues that manifest in the body. Right now, patients who struggle with these types of persisting symptoms (e.g. tremors, heart palpitations, visual snow) often present in medical settings with no diagnosis, explanation, or simple “cure” for what’s going on, a result of both patients and providers neglecting the possibility of mental health leading to physical problems. Our goal is to build a platform that helps people begin the healing process, connecting users with licensed therapists via the first symptom-based approach to mental care while personalizing their recovery plans.
Our primary, long-term goal is to build a platform that empowers people who struggle with physical manifestations of their mental health to recover. In order to do this, we need to help users resolve or alleviate the underlying stressors in their lives that have led to such symptoms. We thus want to complete a first-of-its-kind algorithm that personalizes the therapist-finding process by matching clients with providers who can address their unique needs while incorporating other AI features throughout the website that can serve as daily affirmations to help users change their lives. In order for our platform to reach as many individuals who suffer from SSRDs out there, we need to raise awareness about the bridge between physical and psychological health with the platform while helping improve the scientific understanding and acknowledgement of the issue. Our first step in doing so will be launching a high school extracurricular program (with events and guest speakers) to engage a younger audience with the issue. We are currently in contact with the administrative team of a high school to get our first club started, where we will host talks and run an awareness campaign by partnering with experts in the field. We eventually hope to soon expand our scope throughout the state and eventually throughout the country.
